Life is like writing with a pen.  You can cross out your past, but you can't erase it.  If you can't be a pencil to write someone's happiness, then try to be an eraser to remove their sadness.  Grief is like the ocean; it comes from waves ebbing and flowing.  Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming.  All we can do is learn to swim.  "Cry a river; build a bridge.  Get over it".

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.  Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.  " He who fears he will suffer, already suffers because he fears.  If you fight, you might lose; if you don't, you have already lost ".  I do not fear being alone, I fear being in a room full of people I cannot trust.  The trust of the innocent is the liar's most useful tool.  Don't depend too much on anyone in this world because even your own shadow leaves you when you are in darkness.  If you don't have any shadows you're not in the light.  Move out of the darkness of grief and into the light of life.  Let your light shine so brightly that others can see their way out of the dark.

People who have no life will always try to start drama in yours.  Everybody has a chapter they don't read out loud.  Every heart hides many wounds that never bleed.  Everyone has untold stories of pain and sadness.  You cannot expect to give bad and receive good.  You cannot expect to give good and receive bad.  Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.  You can't fix someone who doesn't want to be fixed.  But you can ruin your life by trying.  We were born to be real, not perfect.  I don't regret the things I did wrong.  I regret the good things I did for the wrong people.  When things go bad, remember that it's just a chapter.  Turn the page; never close the book.  I am grateful for every scar; some pages turned, some bridges burned, but there were lessons learned.

Every emotion has a story to tell.  The world is a mixture of people.  Spoilt people live rotten lives.  The wrong people will always teach us the right lesson.  It's not what we have in life that matters, but who we have in life.  We just need to know which hand to shake and which hand to hold.  The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases.  Sometimes I wish I could change some things that happened in the past, but the rear view mirror is so small and the windshield is so big.  You'll just be crashing.  If you never take your eyes off the rearview mirror.  Your eyes are placed in the front because it is more important to look ahead than to look back.  Where you are headed is much more important than what you've left behind.  Drive carefully on this road called "life" because people will switch lanes on you without a signal.  Overcome the devils with a thing called "love".  There is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love.

Insecure people put others down to raise themselves.  Some people will never like you because your spirit irritates their demons.  Be careful who you let on your ship, because some people will sink the whole ship just because they can't be the captain.  Don't make excuses for horrible people.  You can't put a flower in an axhole and call it a vase.  You cannot expect a person to behave in a manner that is not in their character.  Don't be angry with people who don't have the capacity to change.  It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults.  You are not obligated to sacrifice your peace for those who are not at peace with themselves.  Don't worry about people who aren't happy for you.  They probably aren't happy for themselves either.  Only people who aren't happy with themselves are mean to others.  Some people create their own storms, then get upset when it rains.  You could give some people a drop of water, and they'd still appreciate you.  You could give other people the entire ocean, and they'd still take you for granted.  Some of the most miserable people are those who only care about themselves, understand only their own troubles, and see only their own perspective.  People will never truly understand something until it happens to them.  Never argue with stupid people; they will drag you down to their level and then beat you up with experience.  If haters are trying to pull you down, then it means you are above them.  A quiet tiger is more dangerous than a barking dog.  A snake only sheds its skin to become a bigger snake.  The largest fish in the river grew to its size, not because of its strength but because it learned not to bite a baited hook.  Every human bleeds the same color.  A lot of things broke my heart but fixed my vision.  Don't allow anyone to make you feel like you're not good enough.  When people say they cannot see anything good in you, Hug them and say that  "life is difficult for the blind".  Don't seek revenge.  The rotten fruits will fall by themselves.  Never argue with a liar.  Never argue with someone whose TV is bigger than their bookshelf.  You can't win because they believe their own lies.  Keep your distance from people who will never admit they are wrong and always try to make you feel like it's all your fault.  If you close your eyes to facts, you will learn through accidents.  Bees cannot convince monkeys that honey is sweeter than bananas; bees can’t explain to flies that honey is better than shit.  You can't expect a wolf to play with you and not eventually bite.  Never to wrestle with a pig.  You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.

We appreciate good people.  They are hard to come by.  Life is too short for long-term grudges.  Holding a grudge doesn't make you strong; it makes you bitter.  When you are a good person, you don't lose people; they lose you.  Forgiving doesn't make you weak; it sets you free.  Don't pour your sunshine into someone who doesn't think of you as their sky.  Don't break a bird's wings and then tell it to fly.  Don't break a heart and then tell it to love.  Don't break a soul and then tell it to be happy.  Don't see the worst in a person, and expect them to see the best in you.  Don't judge people and expect them to stand by your side.  Don't play with fire and expect to stay perfectly safe.  It won't be easy to have a kind heart in a cruel world.  Some people come into our lives as blessings.  Some come into our lives as lessons.  People walk out of your life, but it's not the end of your story.  It's just the end of their part in your story.  Tables turn, bridges burn, and we live and learn.  If respect is no longer being served, leave the table.  Those people who treat you wrong be sure you thank them for making you strong.  Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.  It's never nice to lose someone close to you; unfortunately, life goes on, and we have to make peace with it and move on.  There is a thin line that separates laughter and pain, tragedy, humor and hurt.  Life is too short to waste your time on people who don't respect, appreciate, and value you.  Spend your life with people who make you smile, laugh, and feel loved.  Accept people as they are, but place them where they belong.  You are the CEO of your life.  Hire, fire and promote accordingly.  If they stand behind you, protect them.  If they stand beside you, respect them.  If they stand against you, defeat them.

It is better to lose others than to lose yourself to fit in.  The deepest pain I ever felt was denying my own feelings to make everyone else comfortable.  l used to tolerate a lot because I didn't want to lose people.  Now I establish boundaries because I don't want to lose myself.  Everything that needs to be said has already been said.  But, since no one was listening, everything must be said again.  " I lost myself trying to please everyone else.  Now I'm losing everyone while I'm finding myself ".

Time passes.  People leave.  Feelings change.  Memories fade.  Stuff happens.  Things end.  After all, life goes on.
