Life is a book. Every day a new page.
Every month there is a new chapter,
and Every year there is a new series.
May the stars carry your sadness away.
May the flowers fill your heart with beauty.
May hope forever, wipe away your tears,
and above all,
May silence make you strong.
Be strong, but not rude.
Be kind, but not weak.
Be bold, but don't bully.
Be humble, but not shy.
Be proud, but not arrogant.
Do what makes your soul shine.
Don't try to be perfect; just do your best.
Work for a cause, not for applause.
Live life to express, not to impress.
Don't limit your challenges;
challenge your limits.
You see sunshine where others see shadows,
and opportunities where others see obstacles.
If you want to shine like the sun,
first you have to burn like it.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal:
it is the courage to continue that counts.
Excuses make today easy, but tomorrow hard.
Work makes today hard, but tomorrow easy.
Accept both compliments and criticism.
It takes both sun and rain for a flower to grow.
If you focus on the hurt, you will continue to suffer.
If you focus on the lesson, you will continue to grow.
A mistake that makes you humble is better than
an achievement that makes you arrogant.
Accept your past without regret;
handle your present with confidence,
and face your future without fear.
To be the best, you must be able to handle the worst.
It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness.
Walking away from certain people
who no longer align with your value system,
who constantly disrespect your boundaries,
and who don't care about
your emotional well-being.
Feel worthy of yourself,
love yourself, take care of yourself, and
never worry about being scoffed at, because
people are not always at your level of vibration and energy;
forgive them for who they are, and be proud of who you are.
Looking back will not help you move forward.
Because you are no longer who you used to be,
and you don't belong there anymore.
It doesn’t really matter who you used to be;
what matters is who you’ve become.
Loving yourself isn’t vanity. It’s sanity.
My goal is not to be better than anyone else,
but to be better than I used to be.
When I was growing up,
I always wanted to be someone.
Now I realize I should have been more specific.
Yesterday
I was clever, so I wanted to change the world.
Today,
I am wise so I am changing myself.
