Thoughts
on Discouragement

A dead
fish will float downstream, but it
takes a live one to swim against
the current.
The
man who discovers that "can't"
is three-fourths "can" is likely to
find himself suited to a
"t".
I
do not pray that my burdens be
lifted - I only pray for strength
to lift.
When
in trouble, to be troubled is to
have your trouble doubled.
How
do you know you're at the end of
your rope? It may be at the
beginning.
If
it doesn't do any good to get
discouraged. The only thing that works
is work.
It
is a healthy symptom when a man
is dissatisfied without being discouraged.
Don't
get discouraged - it's often the last key
in the bunch that opens the lock.
Don't
let life discourage you; everyone who
got where he is had to begin where
he was.
When
you are discouraged because you are
in a valley, remember that every valley
reaches
up to the hills.
If
counting our blessings helps us overcome
discouragement, it is because by doing
so. we realize we have had success
and therein we find self-encouragement.
Discouragement
is stick ability without the stick.
Objections
are just the beginning of your another
stage of your sales process. Welcome
them instead of treating them as your
enemy.
Thomas
Edison failed 10,000 times in the search
to invent the electric light bulb.
Abraham
Lincoln failed over and over by losing
many elections, having failed businesses,
going bankrupt, having a nervous breakdown.
But they were just steps to his
success.
Trouble is nothing -- no-thing. So, you see, trouble can't trouble you if you don't trouble it. The old saying is, 'Never trouble trouble until it troubles you.'
